Staying in your lane

th-2.jpg

Humans as a rule love to be the boss of things. They love to share their opinions and proselytize their beliefs. It is if you think about it a very hive mind behavior. A safety in numbers things. We like it best when others believe as we do and can feel like we are helping them as we firmly show them the errors of their ways. It helps us to feel better about the belief we have sunk our teeth into. There are people who still believe there is only one way towards salvation. And their definition of salvation is a bit one-sided.

Salvation is the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, destruction. So salvation can be the entrance of truth so that you may be saved from ignorance the greatest sin of all. Our search for truth, or salvation is a long road of truth seeking. My truth today is different than the truth of my yesterday’s. When I was younger I was a lot more rigid of what I thought truth was and how others were so very wrong.

Funny thing about time, growth, maturity… it changes your mind. It changes your perspective. And one must do this work for themselves. To stay in your lane is to understand that each human has a very unique hold of their perceptions, and their idea of the truth. All any of us can do is model behavior and belief. If what you say is truth or that your belief system”works” the proof is in the pudding they say, or it should be written all over your face, as the peace that surpasses understanding.

In the end none of us are changing anyone. As a parent you have power over your children… for a minute. We must lead by example, preach by behavior and spread hope by just being the peace we want to see in the world.

Stay in your lane. Love the lane your in. Try different lanes if you are dissatisfied with where you are at. Just remember all lanes are moving to somewhere and you are not the judge of where they go or how they get there. Stay in your lane.

the spirituality of life

It has been a difficult start for 2016 that I have spent most of it in bed. I even went to Minnesota to visit my daughter after I thought I felt stronger and ended up with the flu. My granddaughter and I were getting re-acquainted as we both struggled with pain, what a bonding experience that was. ¬†I was dealing with my body pain, and a baby upset and in pain and a daughter pregnant and in pain. It was not a nice time of family it was a horror of how can we make each other comfortable in this minute, now this one…

During the 3 weeks I would peruse Facebook for what was going on in the world but in a pain fog I saw only negativity. As I came out of the fog of illness and looked closer at our world broadcast through social media I realized how fast you can step out of the life stream. All I can say is that these are troubling times. Everything looks negative!

I think the amount of physical pain running across the planet is indicative of the mental pain that it is chasing. The amount of mental fog plaguing the ignorant is indicative of a surge of crowd mentality not realizing its following the tail of an ignorant beast. If we are not leading our lives then the media or who ever has the loudest voice is leading us. I do not need a blow hard voicing my views, thanks I’ll do it myself by voting people, voting!

It is a great horror how much ignorance there is swirling around and how willing people are to broadcast their ignorance. I really see very little value in ignorance when we have so many different ways to gain intelligence. Make sure if you are one of the ones broadcasting your views that you stay informed and work to make the light of truth your guide. Not your brand of truth but the honest to God truth. It may take a while to get people to stop yelling and see passed their flag of prejudice but if you wave a flag of clarity long enough I have to believe eventually people will see.

Be the change we need in our world by staying as close to the truth in all matters as you can because all lives matter! And when it comes time for you to truly voice your opinion get out there and vote.

Lift your head

I see a lot of drop necks now, people staring at their device rather than heads up, eyes forward. Most young people will tell you looking down at their device rarely causes them to run into things, of course statistical odds haven’t caught up with most of them, yet. They don’t quite get what the big deal is anyway. They just don’t know what an evolutionary coup it was to get that frontal lobe. The ability to think and have complex thought, awesome and then boom, we forget the importance of the neck. The neck is where the nerves carrying the brains impulse signals move. Time spent bending the neck makes the communication bridge between the brain and the body divided and unable to move information.

What once was an ease of communication from your brain to the rest of your nervous system has become the playground for disregard. Go ahead bend your neck all day long it won’t matter! Yah it matters, it can cause your body skeletal issues from chronic neck pain to a possible hump on the back. Constantly change the position of a fixed flexible bone all the way through the brittle years of middle age and your posture will change, you will get shorter and your spine one day will be stooped. On top of what can happen physically the constant bent neck most certainly impedes signals produced in your brain to get where they need to go to keep your mental self in check.

Remember what happens when you put a rubber band around a finger, we use to do that as kids, cuts off circulation take off the band circulation restored. The same action is going on in the neck on a different scale, the constant bending the neck restricts nervous impulse from moving freely, this is minimal during regular neck use but think about it, your kid spends an hour on their phone, looking down, they walk the streets looking down, they sit on the bus, in the car, everywhere looking down. How is it that what took eons of evolutionary time, learning to look up and stand upright, allowing the light to stimulate the frontal lobe and the masters glands of the body, to allowing us to lose it by continually looking down? Are we really getting smarter with all this looking down or is it stealing our chance for experience and growth?

Are we slaves to our devices and are the masters pleased with their control?

Even if one argued that using intuition to see both up and out while looking down does make someone ahead of the game, it still leaves the disrupted signal dominant, you are not playing with a full deck. Once a nerve is pinched, or the original pathways moved, you are not the same and something has to compensate.

I think it might be time to think about why we are giving up the evolutionary advantage to looking up. Keep the neck free of kinks so that all information moving through the spine can be utilized. The communication highway through the neck is developed and moves through the physical but it also includes spiritual impulses as well. But what would be the point of having advanced spiritual thought if the vessel you are in is trapped in animalistic behavior because you chose to look down blocking off the frontal lobes ability to sense light and communicate with a higher vibration resonating in the universe. Your freewill determines what you voluntarily do, so look up more often than down, realize the evolutionary advantage to being the smartest in the room, don’t let those that benefit from our ignorance win.

life lessons

I think people have no idea the power of their negative patterns. You will hear people tell you the same story over and over again with only the names being changed. “She left me, again” Everyone around trying to be supportive because it is the same thing with you, find someone then its “fight, break up then make up, same story different day. Everyone around us can identify where others are stuck but very few people seem to see their own stuck-ness.

Now I am talking about typical human behavior not the kind of irrational behavior that needs supervision and medication. I am talking about the things that hold us back, the things that we won’t readily admit we have the most problem dealing with.

We are swimming in a fog of forgetfulness as far as our own faults and needs to grow are concerned. We will declare our willingness and claim a renewed vigor on our favorite walk of life, slowly losing steam as we realize the real work of change is just that “work”. We do not change because it is a fun activity we change because what we are doing isn’t working anymore and we know it. We have been digging a rut on our life journey following the same circle over and over, claiming each time to do better or better yet pretending you don’t see yourself walking into brick wall as you say “ok, let’s try it one more time”, really one more time!

Yah, one more time, because sometimes its easier to just deal with it than it is to take the steps towards real change.

Because who are we trying to fool. If we are not ready to change there’s not a damn thing that can make us change. Life gets very comfortable even in its stupidness. Especially with our relentless pursuit of entertainment and pleasure to over ride the pain of our unsuccessful lives. We do stupid things, we live unconsciously. And who are you to tells us otherwise?

Sometimes the self loathing we feel towards ourselves causes us to be in denial and while all the evidence points to the fact we are not really making any progress towards our goal we will proclaim victimhood to self-responsibility. Life is hard, yup, check, and sometimes the best teacher you get is the one staring at you in the mirror, you know the one looking at you after you have messed things up, again! We have to be conscious or we will be constantly falling victim to our negative patterns.

Face it, we all have things we need to work on, we ALL do. So do yourself a favor and begin to at least own your stuff. Start to live an examined life. If you are standing on a life path that is experiencing a cascading avalanche of negativity go back through your memories until you find the one that shows you ¬†pulling the lever that was holding the avalanche back. We are here to learn and when we don’t do it consciously we will find ourselves being tripped up by our own ignorance and blindness. We want to learn, deep down inside everyone wants to be better, it just gets covered up in ego and fear, and then we forget.

The joy of being human is the free will we have been given to learn the divine spiritual wisdom needed to run our lives. But it does no good at all to have the freedom and wisdom to run our life if we don’t first have control over it. Understanding how you are tripping your self up will give you the ability to see obstacles as they approach rather than dealing with them after the collision. Take stock in your life and if you find yourself trapped repeating a negative pattern, get out of the house of mirrors, clean off the lens of your eyes and face your reality. Start learning your lessons and get back into the driver’s seat of your life.
