Staying in your lane

th-2.jpg

Humans as a rule love to be the boss of things. They love to share their opinions and proselytize their beliefs. It is if you think about it a very hive mind behavior. A safety in numbers things. We like it best when others believe as we do and can feel like we are helping them as we firmly show them the errors of their ways. It helps us to feel better about the belief we have sunk our teeth into. There are people who still believe there is only one way towards salvation. And their definition of salvation is a bit one-sided.

Salvation is the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, destruction. So salvation can be the entrance of truth so that you may be saved from ignorance the greatest sin of all. Our search for truth, or salvation is a long road of truth seeking. My truth today is different than the truth of my yesterday’s. When I was younger I was a lot more rigid of what I thought truth was and how others were so very wrong.

Funny thing about time, growth, maturity… it changes your mind. It changes your perspective. And one must do this work for themselves. To stay in your lane is to understand that each human has a very unique hold of their perceptions, and their idea of the truth. All any of us can do is model behavior and belief. If what you say is truth or that your belief system”works” the proof is in the pudding they say, or it should be written all over your face, as the peace that surpasses understanding.

In the end none of us are changing anyone. As a parent you have power over your children… for a minute. We must lead by example, preach by behavior and spread hope by just being the peace we want to see in the world.

Stay in your lane. Love the lane your in. Try different lanes if you are dissatisfied with where you are at. Just remember all lanes are moving to somewhere and you are not the judge of where they go or how they get there. Stay in your lane.

Judge much

Unknown

Why are people still judging other people? Why aren’t we first learning to understand, be truly informed, exercising a non judgmental non reactionary way of being? Educated action rather than idiotic reaction!

It is often hard to understand other people. Who are they, where do they come, why do they believe the way they do? The word other being a starting point, we consider people ‘other’ from our selves because of the differences and thus the judgement begins. A She says, “He is not me, he does not know me, he wants to take from me, he wants to hurt me,” and the he says, “she is not me, she does not know me, she wants to take from me, she wants to hurt me.” Change the pronouns same story different day.

Maybe no one wants to hurt anyone and everyone would like to just be ok.

We judge the “others” because we think we know, because we are afraid, because we think something bad is going to happen and when it does we know who to blame.

Right now you can’t talk about anything because you will run into judgement everywhere.

Want to save the children, you are letting terrorists into the country

Want to send money, you are funding terrorism

Want to open your doors, you are giving away our resources

People who judge are very righteous in the reason for the judgement. Finger wagging and responsibility avoided, brain shut off from reason.

If you want to be a part of the change you wish to see in the world at least for the next few weeks, then start by limiting your judgements. If you are finger wagging about things going on halfway around the world from you, and the only source of info is tv, get some more info.

Get educated if you want to fly a judgement flag, know what you are talking about and remember beyond anything else,

Judge not lest ye be judged!

What if you’re right?

Unknown

What if you’re right and we could have anything we want as long as we were willing and able to work towards it without loss of faith?

Go for it!

What if you were right and it really didn’t matter at all, what you choose to look like and what you choose to do?

Be who you want!

What if you are right and the thoughts in your mind are being influenced by perceptions, meaning you are controlling your life with thoughts coming from someone or somewhere else?

Think for yourself!

What if they were wrong and everything they ever said was wrong, would you even know, or care?

Know your own truth!

What if they are right and there is a God and it’s not a person but a force and frankly it wishes you all would just get to it?

So get to it!

Understand your own version of a higher power! It doesn’t make you weak or stupid it frankly makes you smart, you think a human created this world??????? you think we crawled out of pond scum…please people

Use your brain!

What if they were right and it didn’t matter if you were a girl or a boy or neither. And you don’t have to get married or have children or a career?

Choose for yourself!

What if they are right and God doesn’t really care what gender you are, only you know who you are, and who you love!!!

Love yourself!

What if there was no boss of you, ever!

Be free!

What if it doesn’t matter if you exercise or not, or eat right or not or nothing bad would happen if you just started to listen to yourself until you need to fire that stupid voice in your head and cultivate a new better one.

Talk sweet to yourself! For God’s sake stop berating yourself with your parents voice!

What if they are right and you could be anything you wanted to and all you had to do is put your mind to it.

Then just do it!

What if they were right and you sat on your ass this entire lifetime thinking it was one thing and it was something else.

Figure it out, for yourself, they don’t know you!

How many of you will hate when you learn life is a game, and we are the game pieces.

because we are

Really, if you are not living your life, you are being played!

I hate writing what should be obvious…

People being people

IMG_1835

Could be anywhere on the planet. There is no context for you to decide whether you ‘like’ these people or not. They walk upright, head over the shoulders, feet on the ground, just people.

IMG_1836

People smiling and friendly. Living life where they are. What makes us so afraid of “others”? We all want to eat, we all want love, we all want to be ok…

IMG_1837

Workers in the kitchen of any restaurant anywhere. Just people being people, people working hard for their currency. What is it about the way we believe, or love that makes us believe that they are others and we are people? Why is the idea we are all people so hard for people to swallow?

I think in the end while there is a portion of the world’s people dead set on owning, and controlling everything, there are still many people just trying to have the best life possible. As I travel I see that to be true. Praise God!
